I went to work at the viking as a cook shortly after the Wongs sold to Chuck Hansen. Chuck kept the Thursday fish fry tradition going as long as i worked there and beyond, i also remember prep-ing tubs and tubs of onion rings for every Thursday This place rocked with lines out the door

Back in the 1970's this restaurant was owned and operated by Larry and Rita Wong. It was a great place to eat with quality meals and family atmosphere. Famous for their Thursday Night All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry and delicious Sunday noon Buffet, this family restaurant epitomized small town quality restaurants at their finest! A blow to the community when the Wong family left after several years to move on.
