Rude, Uncourteous employees

We have been eating at Viet Huong Vietnamese Restaurant in Huntsville, AL quite often and also order take-outs since 4-5 years. we always liked their food. Earlier staff used to treat customers nicely.we ordered Clay Pots, Spicy Lemongrass Chicken, Jasmine Hot tea. A guy told his name "Dang" served tea but it was not hot enough. When we informed him, he took the tea Kettle back in the kitchen and brought another kettle and charged us for 2 tea kettles. He didn't listen to your concern and kept arguing. Initially he didn't provide serving plates. So we have to request him for plates he ignored once. Clay pots were not sufficiently hot and Food was not properly cooked and appeard that inside kitchen they mixed other customers leftover food in our Clay pots which tasted weird this time. Earlier dozens of times we ate there and we were served steaming hot food in sizzling Clay pots.
Behaviour of employees was rude and unacceptable. We had to ask 2-3 times to get one item. They didn't provide forks-knifes to all persons on the table. we had to request them for each item and they didn't care. you ask some thing and they ignore you number of times,Waiters do not listen to you or admit their mistake and kept arguing...I do not recommend people to go there to waste your time, money and tolerate their rude behavior.

Rude Employees:We have been going there quite often since 2007. we always liked food. Earlier staff used to treat customers nicely. On 11-11-2011 evening we waited long for waiter to come and take orders. We asked women waiter if she will take order. She said guy will come to take our order. we ordered Clay Pots, Spicy Lemongrass chicken, Jasmine Hot tea. Guy named "Dang" served tea. it was not hot. So when we informed him, he took the tea Kettle back in the kitchen and brought hot tea and charged us double price for tea. He didn't listen to our concern and kept arguing. Ininitally he didn't provide serving plates. As I didn't feel comfortable eating directly from Clay Pots. So we have to request him for providing us plates he ignored once. I do not recommend people to go there to waste your time, money and tolerate their rudeness.

It is not like in Philly's Chinatown but it is much better then the one in Madison. I enjoy the soups and the condements served with it.

Please bring a place like this to Florence or the Shoals area. Pho is an amazing dish. I've had the chicken and a couple of different beef pho noodle soups. Amazing aroma and taste. The clay pots are also wonderful. Fresh veggies and your choice of meat/seafood or combinations.

If you have had good Vietnamese food (say, in Southern CA or in Vietnam), you will not enjoy the food in this place. The food is tasteless and not authentic. The service is terrible. A much better choice is Saigon Noodle in Madison.

If you are looking for a quaint little restaurant, this is the place for you!!! The food is great, the people are very friendly and the prices can't be beaten!!! This is a family owned business, not a chain...you are treated very nice. I have eaten here many times and have taken my children and grandchildren here...everyone is so nice!!! Come and enjoy!!!

I've eaten here a number of times...and the food is always excellent. The pho is not quite as "perfumey" as you might find in some areas with bigger oriental populations and I think that helps the less adventurous to try it. Regardless, it is still delicious, as are the goi cuon, the clay pots, and any number of other items I've tried. In fact, the clay pots may be a good "starter" item for first-timers. The fact that it is generally busy is a GOOD SIGN!

Viet Huong Vietnamese restaurant is a nice place with good food. The wait staff is efficient and friendly. The menu gives you enough variety without being overwhelming, as well as offering descriptions of the dishes. They have great pho and "clay pot" meals. Meals come out in good time despite this restaurant usually being quite busy and packed to the brim with diners. If you don't mind an active atmosphere (this place can get really busy at times), try Viet Huong for a tasty treat.

If you are looking for Pho, this is the place to go. I have searched all over North Alabama for a place that serves Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) and this place is great.
