Ginza Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar Japanese, Steak House 5380 West 38th Street, Indianapolis (317) 298-3838  I have been to Ginza at least 10 times in my lifetime. I really enjoy the food. I always get the same thing when I go (New York and Boston). The chef's are so funny and they keep you laughing the entire time. I love the price of the food as well.

Mikado Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Japanese 148 South Illinois Street, Indianapolis (317) 972-4180  Really the only Japanese restaurant downtown, Mikado has very fresh sushi, but you'll pay more for the atmosphere and location. The service at times has been less than perfect, but all in all a good choice for Japanese food in Indianapolis.

Outback Steakhouse - Greenwood American, Steak House, Casual/Family 7525 US31 South, Indianapolis (317) 881-6283  Outback Steakhouse is never a disappointment. You can count on good-to-excellent food at a reasonable price. The waiters/waitresses really know their stuff. All in all a "better than average" place to dine.
