Sakura had some of the best sushi that I have had. Service was good and I thought the value was good. The place ws busy and a little cramped, but it added to the atmosphere. It showed me that this was the place for sushi. I would recommend a reservation.

Had fri. Night reservations highly recommended or your not going to find a seat. For 6pm. Walked in early to wait for friend. No seating area and had to keep moving out of the way to let customers who were finished eating out of the door. Cramped room and tables to close together small no privacy loud and atomsphere was completely disorganized. Waited 20min. To even order a drink. PORTIONS of food when they finally arrived 1hr. Later were small, lacking presentation and over all thrown on a dish. Ordered seaweed salad and didn't receive it till after sashimi main course was served. WAITRESS forgot it and also came by the table only once to check on us. I HAD NO DRINK REFILL. When we arrived a family of 5 and children were sitting next to us, they were also not happy with service and asked multiple times for extra napkins for the kids, eventually they went and got them themselves. SERVICE was poor UNLESS your of asian decent who seemed to not have a problem with the outstanding speedy service they received.

Basically, best sushi in Indianapolis. Cooked foods are also great!!
