About Uberstein Chicago

Love Beer? Uberstein is your kind of place! Born from about 500 years of brewing excellence, Uberstein plays host to sing-a-long German bands, huge pretzels and, of course, authentic Hofbrauhaus beer straight from Munich!Looking for something different? The Uberstein Shotski is a must! Four people, four shots, ALL AT ONE TIME! Just yell "Prosit!" and throw back shots with your friends using this wooden ski with four shot glasses attached. You pick the shots - local favorites include Appfelcorn, Obstler and Jagermister - and an UberGirl will make sure they all go down smoothly! Practice makes perfect with this old world tradition. As soon as you walk into Uberstein you'll want to grab a beer and jump into the party. The beer hall or "Schwemme" keeps the cold beer flowing and great Chicago sports on flat screens throughout. Or chose to sit under the stars and take in the 'lovely sites' of Chicago in Uberstein's "Biergarten." Uberstein has a great menu of fairly light bites such as an uber-sized hot pretzel with beer cheese, spaetzle and gravy--a traditional dumpling; beer-boiled bratwurst served on a pretzel roll, and Leberkase Bavarian meatloaf. All sandwiches come with tiny samples of sauerkraut, red cabbage and potato salad. Round up a minimum of four people for an "uber-Feast," a family-style meal that includes brats, frankfurters, thuringer sausage, pretzels, and the three standard sandwich sides.Whether you're there for the beer or the brats you'll find something for U at Uberstein. We have two locations for you to visit: 3478 North Clark Street and 1745 West North Ave in Chicago.
