About Two Forty Two
Two Forty Two, from the vision of owner David Mardirosian comes an elegantly decorated California/New York style restaurant located in Providence, RI's premiere food destination of historic Federal Hill. Two Forty Two's menu showcases a California inspired cuisine infused with Mediterranean influences, using each season's finest ingredients. Two Forty Two evokes a feeling of warmth and comfort with its beautiful gold banquettes in the front lounge/bar area and candle chandeliers and sconces in the rear dining room. The bar is meticulously covered in mother of pearl and light wood, while the hard wood floors contrasts with a dark oak stain. The front area seats 20 with another 12 at the bar and 12 in the lounge chairs which are ideal for specialty martinis and appetizers. The rear dining room seats 45 and can also be used as a private dining facility. The restaurant is open seven nights a week for dinner with a special late night menu served until midnight on weekdays and 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Guests of Two Forty Two are invited to use the restaurants complimentary valet parking. We are located at 242 Atwells Avenue, between Dean Street and Depasquale Avenue.
