My husband and neighbors and I frequent this place A LOT. We live right next door, so it makes sense that we spend A LOT of money there. I was sad and hurt, though, when I entered the bar tonight with my dogs (they allow dogs) to visit with my neighbors (and their dog) who were already there eating food and drinking drinks. Within approximately 10-15 seconds of me sitting down and saying hello to my friends we were told to leave. No warning, nothing. Why? The dogs greeting each other was apparently bothersome...to whom? I'm not sure. Steve's claim was that 'if we can't control our dogs we have to leave'. I'm not sure what his version of 'control' is, as the dogs were always calm and I was always in control of them and my neighbors of theirs. Much like children, dogs are not completely silent. Usually the dogs and their doggy behavior is no problem, but apparently tonight was different. Why? Again, I'm not sure. What I do know, however, is that I will be spending my hard earned money somewhere that respects their 'usuals' a lot more than this bar. It is a shame; the bartenders there are awesome and the food is good for bar food (except the new version of pizza). Steve, it is a pity you can be so short sighted. And it is a shame that you let what was possibly a bad mood ruin a great patron/bar relationship.
