Diner reviews of Checkered Parrot
A diner from Modesto, CA

I was in your establishment on October 1st with eight other people. The restaurant was not crowded so all of us immediately had a table. I ordered a margarita on the rocks with no salt and a taco salad. I received a plain margarita and waited. Everyone at the table received drinks and food. About 10 minutes later the waitress says they made tacos not taco salad so they sent it back. We Wait. Everyone finishes their food and drinks and flag the waitress for our check and she says, “Oh I’ll check on your salad.” Then we wait some more fore her to take it off our bill.
I’m not paying the bill but someone shows it to me to make sure my food isn’t on it and I see we were charged for a top shelf margarita. $15.00. You have to be kidding. I know a top shelf margarita, I didn’t get one and I didn’t order one. Even the Killer Margarita on the menu was only $13.00.
It appeared your staff was incompetent, poorly trained and possibly ripping off your customers.
