About Trodos Restaurant

Trodos is Ayhan's contemporary take on the Mediterranean fusion cuisine he first introduced to Long Island over 30 years ago. Trodos serves the best authentic dishes from Turkey, Greece, Israel, Cyprus, and other eastern Mediterranean regions. Trodos is named after the largest mountain range on Cyprus, and evokes the rich culture that began in 11,500 B.C. Trodos serves house made Appetizers, including outstanding Hummus, Zucchini Pancakes and Cod Fish Caviar. The Salads include the traditional Felafel Platter, the Stuffed Grape Platter and the zesty Shepherd Salad. Trodos is acclaimed for its Flame Grilled Whole Fish like the moist Branzini. The flavorful meat dishes include Grilled Mignon Kebab, Baby Lamb Chops and a juicy NY Strip Steak. The fresh fish includes a tasty baked Tilapia and pan seared Sesame Crusted Salmon. There is also a fine selection of grilled Shrimp and Chicken dishes and the popular Lobster Specials.

The wine list includes fine Turkish Reds, Greek Whites and popular labels from the USA and other regions.

The cozy Bar serves generous pours and unique Cocktails like the Watermelon Martini.

The fresh made desserts are not to be missed and include super creamy Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse Cakes and the best Baklava ever. And the specialty coffees include a tall layered cappuccino and authentic Turkish coffee.
