Although many assume that the name TraVino has something to dowith golf legend Lee Trevino-the similarity is completely coincidental.

The name is taken from a combination of "Tra," for Traverse City and"Vino," for wine; as the original concept featured local wines paired withfreshly prepared Mediterranean food. In recent years, the menu and winelist has grown to reflect a more Northern Italian menu and wider varietyof international wines.

Weather permitting, TraVino's screened-in porch is a wonderful way tospend an afternoon overlooking the fairways of Grand Traverse Resort.The only rule: After a couple of "TraVini" cocktails, you are not allowed to scream "FOUR."
