Top of the Hill has quickly become the premier restaurant and bar in Chapel Hill. Both students and alumni gather here for drinks and dinner - even Coach Matt Doherty makes an occasional appreance. The beer (which they brew themselves) is world class, and the food, though on the expensive side, is original. Try a "Big Bertha Brown" ale and the plum tuna over wasabi mashed potatos - they're great. For the night scene, the beer is still popular, and the Long Island Iced Teas are notorious for their potency and quality.

This is my favorite restaurant! All of the food is very fresh and good. The desserts are to die for, all made there at the restaurant. Please try it. They have a great email list where they tell you the specials.

Nicely decorated and good food. They are known for their variety of sandwiches and area TVs keeps you abreast of the latest sports scores.
