When the Sands Hotel and Casino originally open in Las Vegas, it quickly became the center of entertainment. The coolness of Frankie, Dean, Sammy, Joey and Peter, better known as the Rat Pack, brought with them style and class which raised the bar that defined an era.
It is with this tradition that Niko-Giannakakis is proud to welcome you to The Sands Restaurant & Martini Lounge. You will find classic entrees with a contemporary flare, a martini bar that is sure to impress the connoisseur and late night entertainment that echo the soirees Frankie and Deano used to enjoy. You may be in the mood to try our savory Mama Franks Bruschetta or perhaps our grilled filets, sure to be juicy and made just the way you like. Top the night off with one of our signature Pomegranate Martini and don't forget to try Chef Victor's delicious Tiramisu, which was said to be a favorite of JFK.

The sands was reccommended by our friends. the decor, the food, the servers were excellent. I had the steak pepernada, my wife had a filet, and the other couple we were with had steak samian and chicken-shrimp diablo. Everything was flavorful and tasty. ive been in all the restaurants in twin lakes this one blows all of them away.

The sands is a beautifully designed restataunt/ lounge with an ambiance anyone could appreciate. From the beautiful murel on the wall of the original rat pack, to the friendly smiling faces of the employees, The Sands was an all around great experience. The waiters were very accomidating and efficient, and the bartenders were very helpful with suggesting cocktails, and keeping everyone happy. During our dinner, not only did the owner come to check on how our food was, but the chef actually took the time to make sure everything was great. Certain appetizers and desserts are flamed tableside, and is a great show. I would highly suggest trying one of their 22 martinis. Great all together. Would highly reccomend.
