Food very good, however, the restaurant decor is very dated, and in need of remodel (ie...water stains in ceiling, etc).

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST. YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY LEAVE THIS RESTAURANT HUNGRY OR UNHAPPY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY IT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY.
I enjoyed a visit to this restaurant and was not disappointed. The food is superb, especially the salad bar.

The Houston Restaurant is a fantastic meal for a reasonable price! It is a great meat and potatos joint, but there is something on the menu to please everyone. The salad bar is incredible... better than any I've ever seen, including that chain that boasts its salad bar. The ribs are cooked to perfection, the seafood is always seasoned just right, and the pork chops are fantastic. The portions are huge so you will leave FULL!
