I had dinner with some business colleagues at the Capital Grille in DC during the Book Expo. We were all from out of town, all had a wonderful dining experience, and found the food top notch as a widely reputed restaurants food should be.
I spent years as a chef and appreciated the treatment of all dishes that were delivered to our table of 8.
The waiter was politely bland with a calm air. He was a good waiter and very unobtrusive; with smooth movements and manner when serving. He also had very good timing and his assistant waiter followed his orders very well and promptly.
I will be back next time I am in DC.
Thank you for your excellence.

I had dinner down town at the Capital Grille over the Memorial day weekend. The service was good. Our waiter made pleasant conversation with us at appropriate intervals throughout the meal. The food was good although nothing in particular made a lasting impression on me. I arrived late because many of the streets were closed to accomodate the extra holiday traffic. When I did arrive my party had already been seated, and I believe that I missed out on a part of the "capital" experience as a result of that. Didnt get to hear the "spiel" or the specials. I would definitely return to the capital grille though... perhaps next time I will be able to review the entire dining experience.

I live near Annie's and go there several times a week, usually for lunch/brunch. Since the renovation of both the restaurant itself and the menu, the only reason i continue to go there is because of the wait staff and because I have gotten to know s

This place has gone completely colorless, pleasant, and boring. Annie's has changed for the worse. I won't be going back anytime in the evening, perhaps for brunch, but I won't be recommending it to anyone either.
I go to Steak N Egg almost every weekend during the afternoon for my favorite meal. I just love their Cornbeef Hash and Eggs! I do spice it up most days and get a 1/2 waffle with whipped cream.
Its so nice to get out for a walk and end up at steakne
