Waterford Restaurant Guide

By far the best Thai food I've ever had. Love this place. It's humble, but great. Fresh food, friendly service, good value.

Great food!! I get chicken pad thai every time and it is simply amazing. Food is always fresh and cooked in front of you. Friendly workers, great restaurant overall.

Very good and authentic thai food. Fast and friendly every thing is fresh and cooked to order. Not fancy at all but great for carry out.

GREAT food...fresh made in front of you. It is a very small restaurant, but hey...the food is inexpensive and great...if they had a big fancy place, guess what... the prices would go up!! And as far as being rude, that's bull!! They are not rude, they are very nice...and there are 3 people working there...cranking out lots of food...if you want some bozo schmoozing you just to be REALLY friendly...go somewhere else!!

Thailand Express is a good restaurant. It has a few low qualities, but I come back due to the food.

I have had everything on the menu, even some things that are not on it. Everything and I repeat everything is great. The owners know english. I moved away and came back two year later and it was still great. I always leave full and for under 10 bucks a plate(w/ egg roll and soup) For get other places where they make the food in the back and leave it under the heat lamps all day. I want to watch them make my food. I would drive 250 miles for Thailand express, oh wait I have.

Awesome food!!! As for the person who said that the owners were rude... you are ignorant. Instead of writing worthless restaurant reviews (because you are obviously "that" person who thinks that everyone wants to know your opinion), take an English class. Maybe next time you can use the word "their" correctly!! I bet money that you are the customer that torments every business you frequent. The owners of Thailand Express do talk to you... more than likely under "their" breath!!

The staff is QUIET, not RUDE! They remember my husband and I and have our food started as soon as we walk in the door every Friday night! We get the same dish every time (#21, peanut curry), as we are hopelessly addicted to it and the price is very good (around $7, whereas other places we've been to charge almost $10 for the same dish, same serving size). We get our food to go as the atmosphere isn't the greatest; it is average, but doesn't look like somewhere to eat out on a weekend night or take a date to.

P.S. I wouldn't go to the Chinese/Thai place next door (sort of next door). We ate there once (when Thailand Express was closed) and both got food poisoning!

Best thai on Dixie Highway in Waterford, anyway! And about the unfriendly attitude thing... I disagree. I think it's just a cultural difference. I thought they were unfriendly for a while, and then they started calling me by name and remembering my order and I knew they were good people!

Hate the owners, their very rude. Never smile but the food keeps me coming back for more so ill excuse their unfriendly attitudes.

Great food, Ambience,and kid friendly. Service is not as well neithers is the cleanliness, or value. The price is a little high.
