Last night (Jan. 4th, 2008) after eating I and my dinner companion was asked by a waitress if her service was not good and why we didn't leave a tip for her, we explained to her we were not able to because we didn't have a lot of money to spend.
First I was in shock that any waitress at any restaurant would ever ask about tips. I walked out of Tea Station to only return a few seconds later to tell our waitress that it is rude to ask about tips, she said I was rude for not leaving any for her.
