Great Pizza. Some of the best pizza I have had. You have to dig to find the sauce, the way a good topping pizza should be. We had the all meat and veggie 1/2 and 1/2. The pizza topping are piled on top and the cheese is not skimpy either.

These people are the same people who own "The Pizza Depot" off of Grimmer and Auto Mall in Fremont. A top notch family atmosphere restaurant. Defiantly a recommended family dinner spot.

Hello Everyone,

I am writing this review, because I feel it is necessary to share my poor experience that I had while visiting this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. My family and I have been dinning at Shakers Pizza since the original owners opened their first location in 1992. From my understanding the Fremont location on Thornton Avenue, has recently gone through a change in ownership, and this may be the reason behind the poor service.

To make a long story short, I will briefly describe why this restaurant deserves poor ratings. Two weeks ago, my family, a couple of close friends and I decided to have dinner at Shaker’s pizza for old time sakes. Although, we had not been to this establishment in a while, we expected the service and ambience to be as cheerful and inviting as it had always been. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Instead, we were appalled by the manner in which we were ‘greeted’, and by the poor, unprofessional service we received during the ordering process.

The person who took our order was very rude, seemed frustrated, and was not helpful throughout the whole ordeal; even though, we were very polite and sincere. The environment appeared to be in disarray, tables were unkempt, and only half the place was lit. Needless to say, it appeared as though we were not alone in feeling this way as the place was nearly empty, where it would once be bustling with happy patrons.

We continued to receive poor vibes from the rest of the staff as well. To the extent that we no longer felt welcome, our morale was diminishing, and we ended up canceling our order. In conclusion, this establishment desperately needs “clean-up” their act, re-evaluate their business model and focus on reestablishing their once loyal customer base.
