A diner from Jersey City, NJ
Jan 24, 2011
I have to say whe I am dying of hunger and nothing else is open , then & only then I dare to step into taste of India.
With a mundate repetitive veggie menu having paneer of yesterday and daal/or atleast 1 vegetable will make you feel-the fridge food went bad and smells n tastes so sour.If its a lucky day;the worst will only be an uncooked hard to eat daal.It is a sure dissapointment with the quality of food.
However the friendly high spirited staff and the huge crowd around it(coz its the only indian place around) sometimes makes it irresitible to not go there again with huge sums of hope..with a hope, hope, hope... of some variety or atleast fresh and properly cooked food.
**High selling and value add-the chai's
