Can I just say that I have not eaten at a Restaurant like this in years...there are no other words to describe their food, other than extordinary. The food is clean, fresh, crisp, healthy with an abundance of flavor. I have gone both before and after the reviews and the food has not suffered by their over night success, but amazinly gotten better and the staff as well. We are always greeted when we come in and always given a warm goodbye and thank you when we leave. If you want a truely amazing dining experience than check this place out...outdoor seating, music, and even Karaoke on Thursdays...it is a family run business and it shows. The owner and his daughter really care about what they are doing, and they are way above their competitor Portuguese restaurants in the area (trust me we have tried them all).
As the Chef Owner of this small but homie restaurant, I receive countless compliments on both food and staff. As we have been reviewed by both Newsday and NY Times, I'm greatful and humbled. In this business we strive everyday to be the best, to be professionals,to be curtious, and above all to be honest. In response from the guest from Bethpage, I personally served them they had all there appetizers, entrees,and ate everything, and the husband loved it. I feel I should've been spoken to if they were unhappy instead of walking out without paying. I assure all my guests we can rectify any issue given the opportunity. Thanks and I love you all.

This place is absolutely my fav spot,as well as all of my friends.We go all the time,the staff is very accomadating, and the food is simply superb.This restaurant has already been written up serveral times in it's short 3 months! So of course if you go to place after a write up you may have to wait a little longer than normal, but I believe this is common sense to any restaurant goer! I have gone there when it has been busy and did not wait anything extrodinary,and everyone is always very polite! It is def.a place I would recommend to anyone.

This is a wonderful restaurant, great food, never a wait unless you go the day after they have a review in a newspaper like newsday or the nw york times. . .but then again if you go to any restaurant the day or 2 after a great review you will always have to wait so use some common sense!! I love the place and would tell anyone to go they even have live music on the weekends!!!

Great Food! Great Service!!! The outside is a bit deceiving, do not be afraid to walk in the inside is absolutely gorgeous with a very at home feeling. Besides that the service is wonderful and the food is astounding. An absolute must!!!!

I have never had a worse experience in dining. I was with a party of 4 and we walked out. We sat down immediately only to wait a half hour to get water. Our drink order took an hour to get. We waited for 1 1/2 hours for our food because we complained. Yes, the food finally came but they forgot the appetizers. When the food finally arrived, it was tasteless and inedible. We then walked out. Never have I been to a such a terrible restaurant.
