San Antonio Restaurant Guide

My husband and I love this restaurant. The food is always great and the service is always quick. The staff is very friendly. The cool thing about this place is that they even have a drive thru which we've used on occasion when we're going on a road trip and we just want some tacos to go. Next to my moms home cooking this comes in a close second.

Great place to take the family, variety of mexican and seafood plates.

This is the best food for the money and my favorite is the #2 Fajita quesadilla, it's 3 tacos of choice of meat with cheese, rice, bean. guacamole and it's just great!!!!! The care guisada is very good as well. My mom is old fashioned and will only eat her own carne quisada, but this is her favorite food there!!!!

Taqueria Vallarta offers great tasting affordable mexican food. I prefer getting the "once platter" or number eleven, which is carne guisada and two enchiladas, rice & beans. They have great service also. The best part is their prices. You get great food with out having to break the piggy bank like other "tourist" mexican restaurants down town. Oh yea, and it's only 5 miles from down town.
