A diner from West Hartford, CT

Definitely a neighborhood restaurant - locals fans are willing to rub elbows in the tight space for a great meal. Small regular menu, hardly worth looking at given the extensive fresh daily blackboard choices - always something different and always exceptional. Friendly, low-key wait staff, fun to watch the chefs fly while plating up. Carryout available and on my speed-dial. Unpretentious, honest good food...save room for the excellent, albiet imported, desserts.
