Subway Sandwiches & Salads

Avoid this place like the plague because if you eat here thats what you will get, sick! Never mind that the staff was completely preoccupied with everything and anything other than their jobs but your sandwich sits directly on the counter waiting to be wrapped and rang up (I waited 5 minutes to get toppings put on and over 10 minutes for the cashier to break away from her visiting friend). But much, much worse, my wife, children and myself got deathly ill from eating at this wretched restaurant. The male cashier never washed his hands after handling money he used his filthy, grubby hands to try to wiggle his hands into gloves he had already used and were sitting on the counter. While wearing his gloves, he would take money and sit it on the register- he was way too busy (two other people in line behind me, I bet they are sick also) to use proper food handling technique.
I don't think anyone has the right to make another human being sick, especially if someone is paying good money for a service.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this cesspool at all cost. Only go there if you want some gum snapping, I couldn't care less teenager to infect you. If they are this careless directly in front of customers, imagine how they are in the bathroom or in the back. And the salt in the wound was that the ingredients were so wilted and sorry looking that the sandwich was terrible and we couldn't finish it. Imagine if we had finished the whole thing? I probably would be taking my little girl to the hospital.
I am definitely calling the Oregon Department of Sanitation.
