I ORDERED THE FEATURED CHICKEN DISH AND FOUND IT TO BE MEDIOCRE. Service was fair, food would have been better at a fast food like KFC. Dinner Pricey but hoping for a fun evening we tried the Stockton. BAD CHOICE. Salad greens were limp, the dinner roll appeared to have come from a deli package, the French Onion soup, warm, not hot had 4 small circlets of bread floating with a tiny amount of chese on top. I ordered a Tanqeray Martini - not real Tanqeray.
Overall opinion, will not ever go back.

New Years eve 2007. (Not crowded for 7 pm dinner)Following are my comments as regards the food:
I ordered one of my favorite meals Veal Marsale.
I've had this dish all over the USA and they all are consistant, medallions of veal sauteed in a wonderful light wine sauce. What I received at the Stockton was a plate of thick, sticky pasta flavored with some form of cheap red wine (very heavy flavoring) and about 10 thin strips of veal. Strips were about 1/4" x 3 - 4" in size, they looked dry. I tried one bite of the veal - it did not have a good flavor, then one fork of the disgusting looking pasta which the waitres described as a new approach to veal marsale. All 10 strips of dry veal were the equivalent to one medallion at a good Italian restaurant.I lost my appetite and declined any further food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. MEDIUM SCALE PRICING, I CONSIDER THE STOCKTON AS A POOR VALUE AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
