Restaurant Description
During its 49 years in business, the Stagecoach Inn has built a solid reputation on generously cut steaks and old-fashioned service. When Willie Schrier opened the restaurant and lounge in 1959, his daytime menu boasted a "lunch buffet fit for a king, priced for a pauper." Back then, a Filet Mignon dinner cost $4.25. Today much of the original menu and attitude live on.
The Stagecoach Inn is a Boise mainstay that has weathered the years thanks to a wealth of loyal customers. It is a steak and potatoes kind of place where you can expect outstanding service and some of the best food in town.
A restaurant must be consistently good in order to remain open for nearly five decades and draw a loyal crowd.

We have been going to the "Coach" for 40 years and have never had a poor meal or poor service and I'll put their steaks and prime rib up against anyone else in the Treasure Valley. The atmosphere may be a little homespun Western but it fits the culture and history of the restaurant and is not to be missed.

One of the best places to eat Downtown!
Huge selection of meals on their menu. Handspun milkshakes that are to die for. The apple pie shake actually has a hunk of real home made pie in it! WOW!
