For over three decades, this place has had the BEST Portuguese Steak in town (Other than my dad's!) Been eating here since 1983 and have no plans to change something that works!

I object to a poster's referring to Gloria as a "city treasure." She is truly a national treasure, and one of the reasons we never fail to stop at St. Michael's on our drive from NJ to the Cape. Food is wonderful; ownership/management (Louis and his brothers) works hard to keep an eye on quality and service, and there's no sight quite like Gloria hustling from table to table and table to kitchen. A must-try. Pork cubes, steak, kale soup, and best of all, perhaps, the chourice (sp?)
Bar side is perfect for the football crowd; restaurant side works for anyone.
This is truly a hidden gem. So glad we discovered it (years ago, when we stopped at another Fall River restaurant, asked an employee if the food was any good, and she said "It's okay, but if you want REALLY good food, go to St. Michael's." True story.
I went to Estoril after I heard on the local portuguese radio station that Estoril was the winner of the best portuguese steak. Estoril Restaurant has the best portuguese steak, it's true.
I discovered Estoril Restaurant after reading great reviews about this restaurant. I agree that this restaurant is authentic when it comes to portuguese cuisine. The food was great and affordable. I had the shrimp mozambique and the calamari for app

I've been going to St. Mikes for years I've even had them cater my son's graduation party. The food there is awesome, nice big portions and great drinks too. Gloria the waitress is a city treasure. I go there every week and it keeps getting better every time. They have the best Kale soup and Clamboils that I've ever tasted.

I had always heard great things about this restaurant but never got a chance to go until last week. Now I know why I heard great things; The food was out of this world, the best Portuguese food I've ever had and the portions are huge! The service was polite and prompt, the ambiance was charming and the prices are a steal! St. Michael's Restaurant is a definite MUST VISIT!
