Once again, St. Elmos my entree at St. Elmos underdelivered. This was my third trip to St. Elmos and each time my steak has been mediocre at best. Rather disappointing for a supposedly high ranking steakhouse. Everything else about the experience was above average. We were fortunate to get a table downstairs which was less crowded than the elbow to elbow dining on the main floor. Our service was good and the wind, shrimp cocktail and sides were all very good. Next time in Indy, I think I'll head to Moe's or Ruths Chris.

Excellent service and food quality. The shrimp cocktail is legendary and worth the trip alone. Excellent location in downtown especially for dinner before or after a Pacer or Colts game.

This place (and it's sister location on Pendleton Pike) is our favorite place to go, and not just for the Mexican food. The Cuevas Family are great people, and the quality and value of the food has never disappointed. The largest Chile Relleno I ha ...

St. Elmo's is the classic, original first steak
house of Indy. For steak lovers who appreciate
a relaxed atmosphere with top notch service and excellent food this is the place. Try the shrimp
cocktail with freshly made horseradish cocktail sauce which is a favorite.

This is THE place to eat if you really love steak. The flavor is perfection. The service can't be beat. You will not be disappointed here. The prices aren't for the weak of heart..but don't leave Indianapolis without trying it just once.
