Canton Restaurant Guide

Whenever I go to any restaurant I compare the filet to the one at the Sparta. So far I haven't found any as good,and I have been to a lot of them.

everytime i go visit my grandfather who lives in canton, i love this place. ive been there a good 50 times. and i cant take my kids there in the future.

Always a consistently great top sirloin, must try the sparta fries and the blueberry martinis are the bomb!!!!

Heard the steaks were really good, so my wife and I tried Sparta for the first time. We ordered it medium rare and got rare, but ate it anyway. The steak was good but not as good as Baker’s. The Greek salad was excellent as were the Sparta potatoes. My wife got the homemade twice baked potato, which was not so good. I suspect it was made many hours before and became dense and dry. They might be good if fresh. Had the Blueberry Martini, which was excellent. Nick, the bartender couldn’t have been nicer. I will go back for the Greek Salad and I want to try the Cajun dinner.

We had the BBQ Pork rib full-slab dinners and they were WONDERFUL! The sauce was just sweet enough and with a little tang! They were meaty, but no fat. Very high quality grade of meat! We appreciate whenever Dennis makes the ribs and the effort he made in calling us to let us know he was making them! We have gone to The Sparta Restaurant for more than 20 years and have always enjoyed the food,the family ownership and it's staff and all of their employees.They are always trying to give you a pleasant and memorable dinning experience! wonderful place. relaxing environment. the food was EXCELLENT! the staff was the best..explaining everything i wanted to know, i had never been there b4. cant wait to go back!

Try their Cajun platter. Filet, chicken and shrimp in a lick-the-plate sweet-spicy sauce. Tender beef, juicy chicken.

The staff was friendly, but the food was quite average and extremely expensive for the portion size. I will not return, and I would not recommend this restaurant.

This steakhouse is wonderful. Definitely earns 4 stars. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and you get a great value for the money. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. I will go back.

The best steak in Canton. Extremely friendly and family owned. This place is a must when visiting Canton.

I went there for an anniversary and the food was delicous and our waitress was efficient and friendly! I would definitly go there again!
