Service was so excellent. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a pleasant visit. The biscuits with the garlic butter was fresh and delicious. Food was very tasty, did not care too much for the potato salad, too many different ingredients in it for me. Turkey was so tender and seasoned very well. All my friends enjoyed it so much until the restaurant that we usually eat at was pushed aside. They all want to go to Sole to Soul. Delicious food!!!

My Friends planned a surprise bday dinner at sole II sole for me, when the reservation was made no one was told that it was karaoke night so therefor the atmosphere was very loud and the host for the night was obnoxiosly rude. The menu doesnt offer a lot of variety in terms of side dishes and in general you already get 2 sides with your meal so that only leaves 3 maybe 4 choices if that. After 4 of our party of 8 ordered mac & cheese as a side the waiter returns and informs us that there is no more left and he only prepared 2 pans for the day. A slight disappointment but we can get over that. WHAT WAS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE WAS WHEN ONE OF MY GIRLFRIENDS ORDERED A LEMONADE AND WHEN IT CAME OUT WE NOTICED SOMETHING THRU THE GLASS IT WAS SMALL AND DARK UPON A CLOSER INSPECTION WE THEN REALIZED THAT THERE WAS A ROACH IN THE LEMONADE, I WAS COMPLETELY APPALLED AT THIS AND WHEN THE OWNER APPROACHED THE TABLE WE GAVE HIM THE GLASS HE LOOKED AT THE GLASS AND THE ONLY THING HE OFFERED WITH ATTITUDE MIGHT I ADD IS DO YOU WANT SOMETHING ELSE TO DRINK SODA. Not empathetic in the least and quite frankly I dont think he cared too much like ROACHES in the beverages were second nature. Needless to say we were completely disappointed and we all walked out after that experience. I just want to say that this business didnt just miss 8 customer they can chalk at least 80 as a loss because you can guarantee negative word of mouth travels fast and I am telling the world.

i was truely disappointed. because of the name i thought i would be dinning on some soul food. how wrong was i? completely. i order roasted potato that were over season, mac & chesse i still can't figure out what all was done to it. they try to hard way over the top of what mac & chesse is. fry fish only batter on one side. will not go back.

My sister and I went for a late Friday dinner and we were pleasantly surprised that we didn't get end of the night service that sometimes comes with being at the end of the night. Food was delicious and the service was lovely. We will go again.

The GOOD: This restaurant looks great on the inside. The chairs hurt after sitting in them for a while. The background music was fantastic. The warm bread they bring out was great,too.
The BAD: They put the same seasoning on everything and it was way too heavy. It was on my salmon, broccoli, roasted potatoes, and shrimp cocktail... I'm surprised it wasn't in my soda! They were out of collard greens and potato salad on a Friday night. It took a little longer than I would like to get our food. I was annoyed at this because the place was about empty. The food didn't even come put that hot. Thank goodness we had a gift certificate from restaurant.com because I would have never paid full price for we I got. It wasn't worth the price.

I was purchased a roast pork sandwich with cheese. The sandwich was horrible. It was placed on a kaiser roll, not sliced Italian bread like used to be. The meat was too thick, not sliced thin and piled high like it used
