My husband and I found Smalley's late at night, during a very long drive, returning from vacation. Tired and hungry, we were looking for anything still open.
Not only were they open, but crowded with happy customers being waited on by the friendliest staff we've ever encountered. As we soon found out, it was because they were being served the best barbeque in the country, in our experience.
The steaks we ordered were done EXACTLY as ordered, and even one of the waiters (who came by frequently to make sure we were happy)told us that their cooks really know what they're doing (we'd already been convinced)!
Enough said - we're already planning another driving vacation to include Salinas & Smalley's.

Great place for ribs and steaks and the pork chop dinner is my favorite. Their BBQ sauce is one of the best that I have ever tasted. Be sure to make reservations because they are busy most of the time. It is not a place to go for a quiet dinner but the food is great.

GREAT PLACE TO GO FOR OLD FASHTIONED BBQ FOOD, THE CHILDREN MENU IS LIMITED TO BBQ ONLY SO IF YOU HAVE A TODDLER WHO WANT GRILLED CHEESE OR CHICKEN & FRIES YOUR NOT GONNA GET IT.

The Food is fantastic...The service is outstanding and the enviroment may be busy and noisy but it is worth the great artichoke bisque and blackened chicken fetticini!!!!

This is your average Chinese restaurant. Two or maybe 2.5 starts out of five. The dim sun tastes like it is a few days old and reheated. there is a concern about the grease and salt content in many of their foods.

i went to the restaurant the one located by laurel dr n i didnt like the service. i have gone there alot of times n i always go on the afternoon n it seems that they are always talking in the back. not even a smile or a

The best part about this place is the friendly staff. It is a family owned buisiness and the family spirit overflows to the customers making you feel right at home. I am actually writing this review on one of the owners

This place is so good! The owner is such an awesome guy! People are treated like family. Its a nice decent atmosphere. Really great tasting food. I am never disapointed. My daughter loves the artichoke tomato bisque soup
