Diner reviews of Black Bear Diner
A diner from Mission Hills, CA
Apr 1, 2008
I have been to another BBD in the past and was exceptionally pleased.
This particular location was very disappointing. The service was less than poor. There was a hair in my sisters' food and the management just shrugged and basically accused her of "planting the hair" more or less. I would never recommend nor would I ever step foot in this particular Black Bear again. My rating is F-.

Fabulous sandwiches, fast service and very clean. Very healthy oriented. I actually lose weight eating here. Low fat and low calories. Vegetables in the sandwich are fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

This is your average Chinese restaurant. Two or maybe 2.5 starts out of five. The dim sun tastes like it is a few days old and reheated. there is a concern about the grease and salt content in many of their foods.
