Yesterday during lunch hour I decided I was in the mood for a strawberry crepe. Seeing I had an invite for a free lunch to celebrate my BD I decided to have my lunch there. Very hot day and very crowded. So busy but i waited in line for a table...However I was told there was a long wait especially for a table for one. I felt humiliated. And I left...Being alone is sad enough...I should have been encouraged to wait and be treated like everyone else there. It is not a good policy to turn singles away...Yesterday, thank God, Gays were able to be married here in NY. But it seems Singles are still discriminated against..I had lunch at the Coal Tower. They provide small tables by the window...I enjoyed my Caesar's salad but it wasn't a strawberry crepe...Sincerely Anne F. Amore
