Be careful people, because this place uses MSG! After suffering from a severe reaction, I called the next morning and asked the person who answered the phone if they use MSG. She said yes, especially in the pork fried rice, the gravy for the egg foo yung, and anything that has brown sauce. After suffering from coughing, a headache, and a swollen tongue, I won't be back. I don't want to take the chance. These places should be required to say up front whether they do or do not use MSG, and at least give people choice to order without. Oh, and the food wasn't that great either, everything tasted the same. The one bright spot was the service, which was given thoroughly and with a very cheery attitude.

As a vegetarian, I appreciate restaurants that actually have something edible for our family. The Vegetarian Family Dinner is delicious, and where else can we order food to feed our family of four and still have enough left-overs to feed everyone lunch the next day, for a mere $25?

I have been going here since I was a very young child (Im 21 now) and the food here has never ceased to amaze me. Its the best Chinese restaurant i have ever been to, and I have tried quite a few others but they just could never add up.

We eat at this restaurant frequently.
Its menu offers a large variety of dishes all nicely prepared and presented.
Quantities are ample enough for the hungriest diner: service is prompt and courteous.
We highly recommend this restaurant to locals

I have ate at Yan's several times in the past month...the food is consistently prepared, and always hot and fresh. I find the staff to be friendly and accomodating. I would refer them to anyone who enjoys chinese food.

Do not order the sesame chicken, no sauce whatsoever and nothing like any other sesame chicken I have had previously.

1st-Time for us , We found everything was good ,the friendly service,food,an plenty to eat,if ordering the Family-Style Dinner.The only downside we found,was they don't-substitute,the soup for a salad. An also after eating my soup an her's; my wife was still waiting patiently for her salad to arrive.The Chow-mein definitely needs the noodles larger,an more veggies in it. So would I go back to the Silver Dragon to eat again ? Yes,I'd give it a [3 and a half] Rating out of 5 Star's. It's pretty good Chinese Food over-all !

The best chinese food I've found! Since moving to Arizona I have'nt found a better chinese restaurant. Every time I visit Oregon I make sure to go here! The services is friendly and great, great mar far chicken and the soup is great too!
