I've been to Sharkeys Place on numerous occasions, and have always had a great experience. The owner(s) have always made sure our food and service have been exceptional. Speaking of food and service. Yum yum. They recentely made the menu smaller which is a plus. I had the well known Southern Boil Bucket well worth every penny. My husband decided to try a burger - The Beach Babe. Cooked perfectely! Our service was great and Mallory sure took care of making sure we never ran out of a drink! Bartenders were friendly and we stuck around for a few to dance. All in all Sharkeys never ceases to amaze me.

Ive eaten here a number of times. The food is not consistant. Had killer fried shimp one visit and overbread- undercooked the next time. It much more like a burger joint than a seafood place. Their menu is common with mean nothing names. Cocktails and beer are expensive although they have some good specials if you are into drinking what they want you to drink. It would be nice to get to know the staff as one does at a neighborhood resturant/bar. It seems staff doesn't last long... huuum. Overall the palce has the feel of s late night joint, not somewhere you would go with family. Its better than the irsih pub down the street if that says anything...
My daughter originally told me about the Fat Cats special of a really generous bucket of raw oysters and I went in there to shuck a really large bucket full- at final count the bucket contained 49 medium quality (multiple shells) oysters which never-

I was waiting months for a great oyster bar like Vinnies in southend to show up in lake wylie once I saw the sign. Unfortunately this is no Vinnies BY FAR. We showed up at around 5:30, sat ourselves and the waitress was great. we ordered the fried pi

WOW! What an amazing place. I have read all the reviews on other sites, heard about them in the Gaston Gazette, Charlotte Observer and a few other places and expected the food to be good, but wasn't expecting it to be AMAZING. I had a Southern Boiled Bucket w/clams, mussels, oysters, crawfish and crablegs, a key lime pie for dessert ... WOW!! The kitchen really knows what they are doing back there.
The service was excellent, servers knew the menu were able to answer all questions. I peaked over to the bar area and saw an attactive younger blonde, tending great to customers, great smile and personality. She asked me if I needed anything, even though I was just looking around.
I can not wait to go back and experience the live entertainment the bartender was telling me about. Oh yeah, heated lamps outside the patio too for the winter, great plus!
