I travel coast to coast regularly and have enjoyed thai food all over the country. It seems as though, the good people of Missoula really enjoy this restaurant judging from the raving reviews. However, if you're not from Montana, here's what you can expect, in my opinion of course. The Tom Kah Gai was pretty good, on a scale of 1 to 10 it rated about a 7.5 for flavor, but only a 3 for value (very small portions). The thai tea was too sweet although it had a good flavor, give it a 7 plus an extra half point for bobba or bubbles (tapioca pearls)! For the main course I had the pad thai with shrimp which still had the tails on them, the flavor was eatable, not good and the rice noodles were undercooked and chewy, I give that a 2. The bill for 3 of us came to a whopping 70 BUCKS!! OUCH!! To be fair, that's an average of 5.5 which could have been three stars for them, however the price shot them down to 1 star. The guy above simply was expecting something different. This restaurant is great!! It is more of a cafeteria style at lunch, so don't expect to be pampered...just expect a laid back experience with GREAT food!. The price is small and the lunch meals are filling and very delicious. This is a great local joint, with a very friendly, family style ambience. Thai food made by Thai people right in the Big Sky. This is the best Asian food in town, at the lowest price. I've lived here for 30 years, and this is must see for lunch for any visitor.

Very poor value for the dollar. The soup and spring rolls were good, but Pud Thai was not. We get better food at the mall Thai counter. Also, we got lunch combo meals so we would have extra to take for dinner, but server failed to mention that if you pay the extra for a combo meal at lunch, the portions of each entree are cut by more than half. She did say we would know better next time. There won't be a next time.

They push you buy bigger orders and don't give any time to decide what you actually want. If you take your time looking on the menu, the management gets mad and starts speaking something in chinese which is quite unpleas

Really not great on the service part. I hate it when I have to ask to order and then ask for my check. Staff were way busy taking to each other and hanging around by the bar. Food ok. Raw onions a little much for me. I
