The Sabine River Cafe at 10001 Westheimer in the Carillon Center offers Louisiana flavors with a Texas touch. It's an imaginative blend of foods from the Lone Star and the Bayou states that deliver the comfort of the familiar and the spicy excitement of something new. Managing Partner Chuck Krauthamer is a native Houstonian and the man with the imagination behind the uniquely crafted dishes.
Restaurateurs Thomas Baker and Edit Styve are the other two partners as well as self-admitted critics on the front-line for all of the kitchen's creations. The open and spacious restaurant seats about 150 guests inside and also boasts a covered, wrap-around outdoor eating area. We're one of the few restaurants in the area to feature a full, nothing-held-back brunch, lunch and dinner menu. There's nothing hum-drum or ordinary at Sabine River Cafe.
