Restaurant Description

Ruchi means 'taste' in Sanskrit, the mother of all Indian languages.

At Ruchi we promote simple down-home flavors primarily from Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu in the south of India. Traditional dosas (a thin savory crepe) and vadas (patty-shaped, deep-fried seasoned lentils) are complemented with curries that have a southern twist. In addition to these, there is a pronounced use of coconut, lemon, tamarind, and red Madras chili in our recipes.
