Diner reviews of Rookies Sports Grille Spirits
A diner from San Marcos, CA
Mar 22, 2010
I will give this place 1 star and only for 1 reason, their food was not terrible. However, their staff/service was so incredibly rude I left crying! I have never been treated with such utter disrespect and rudeness ever, anywhere, by anyone. This place "ROOKIES" makes me sick! To be taunted by a bartender and treated with attitude by their server was completely shocking. Our food took about an hour to get to us and even at that point we were in such good moods it did not bother us that much, since we were being entertained, by basketball and had eaten a basket of chicken wings. But as soon as we mentioned that they got our order wrong (after an hour of waiting) they got completely out of control rude!!!! We asked for our bill and as we were leaving without even getting our food, the bartending was yelling and TAUNTING us in front of patrons - including FAMILIES! Who does that? I ask that you as a paying customer never, ever ever ever visit such a place that treats paying customers with such disgusting behavior!

I worked for eleven hours at the office today so I arrived at Oceanside a little late tonight. I also missed the restaurants that close at 9:00 p.m. After a hard day's work I just wanted to reward myself with a nice sump

Great food, VERY POOR SERVICE on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Very under staffed. It appears the owner is trying to save money at the customers expense by understaffing. It happened to me once, so I tried it again. Seco

If you like chimichangas don't go here. The first time I got one I was surprised to see it was nothing but a burrito with sauce on it; not fried at all. The second time I ordered it, I asked them if they could deep fry
