The food is always great and very, very good value for the money. We have been here 5+ times and it's a really fun place to celebrate with family. We live in Algiers and it's definitely worth the drive!

I used to love to go to Smitty's but now they just don't have good food anymore. Last time I went the crab cakes were more like stuffing. There was no crab meat what so ever and the Poe Boy Shrimp Sandwich made my mom sick.

This is the best place that i have been in years as you walk up on a Friday ater noon they are waiting with wine for you to taste and great music i love this the food was the best a place for everybody to go good thing Le Parvenu left

I have been to the River House for dinner three times. The Crab cakes were very good (done mre in a Maryland style. Crab and Corn Bisque and Oyster Artichoke soupe were great. Prime Fillet of beef was top quality. The owners and managers are on top of the service, and the servers are professional and experienced. River House needs to distance its image from the previous restaurant at this location. I see that this website still lists them as still in business.
