a diner from Destrehan, LA
went for Friday(11-6-09)lunch & had the fish with rice & black beans. all was great for $10. is very small with-best i can tell-2 people running the place. NOTE: garces no longer exists. the place at 3809 Williams is Rincon Hispano Restaurant. has traditional Cuban & Colombian foods. only the Paella for 2 at $50 is more than $13. i expect that if they get a full house(10 tables) food could take some time. just relax and have a drink and/or some chips & spicy salsa. ph#504-443-1223
This is the best place that i have been in years as you walk up on a Friday ater noon they are waiting with wine for you to taste and great music i love this the food was the best a place for everybody to go good thing Le Parvenu left
waitress was very friendly and attentive. the crabs on tuesday night were outstanding, got a little busy but overall dining experience was great. will be back
The food is always great and very, very good value for the money. We have been here 5+ times and it's a really fun place to celebrate with family. We live in Algiers and it's definitely worth the drive!
