Great home cooked food, very fast service. The only downside is it gets very busy during the lunch rush which makes it hard to find a seat. But you can always get it to go and still enjoy the great food.
Stumbled on this place by accident while driving 1300 miles on a "Texas Barbecue Odessey". Ate Barbecue at 9 places in 8 days. This place had the best food and best service of any, including Louis Mueller's in Taylor, Coopers in Llano, or Hard 8 in Brady. The brisket is the best I have ever had and...
Very good food, fast service, and very friendly staff. The Owner is often seen walking thru the restaurant greeting customers and caring on casual conversation. Kid friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful with lots to look at. Lots of food for the price. Would highly recommend.
By far the best Italian Food in West Texas. The minestrone soup was delicious and the chicken parmesean was to die for. highly recommend.
Elegant dining and a wonderful atmosphere. A bit on the formal side for children but they are more than welcome. I have had nothing but the best of service and the food is phenomenal. They have the best wine list in San Angelo without a doubt. This is the number one restaurant for engagements in...
We ate at Twin Mountain the other night and I had some of the best catfish I have ever had! My wife had the Talapia and it was also as good as I've ever had it. And don't dare forget about their chicken fried steak!! It's just about the best around. I used to eat there a lot as a kid and would alway...
I can only speak for myself and my husband, but we absolutely swear by this steak house!!! The bread was so delicious, the salad dressing was fantastic and the steak was yummy!!! I told a friend about it and she loved it. I hope I can get back to Texas so I eat there again and hopefully I can take ...
Passing through Texas two friends and I ate there late june 2009. I thought the place could easily be in a third world country with the filthy, matted carpeting which looked as though it hadn't been changed or even cleaned since the l960's. The vinyl on the booths, everyone of them, had at least o...
At @ TM last week (Sept 23, 2009). The Scraps were just as tasty and perfectly prepared as I remembered; bread was good, onion rings OK, pecan pie about average for West Texas (which is GOOD, don't get me wrong). But, the appearance and decor of the restaurant leave a lot to be desired, and the wai...
ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE SERVICE THROUGHOUT THE MEAL..ONE DRINK REFILL THAT WAS RIGHT AT THE END OF MY MEAL...THE WAITER OVERCHARGED THE AMOUNT ON MY CREDIT CARD BY TEN DOLLARS.
We had visitors from out of town and always had good food when we ate at Twin Mts.,but on 11-17-2006 everything(food, service) was terrible. The KC steaks were very very tough, no taste, and we did not enjoy our meal. The waiter never checked on us, and I wrote a note stating the steaks were tough ...
My ole grandpappy told me when I was a little itty-bitty thang that if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing. My lips are sealed, but this place is truly disgusting! (Sorry grandpappy, but I had to!)
This used to be a wonderful steak house - the best in San Angelo. We ate there on Monday, June 8, 2009, to celebrate my grand-daughter's 14th birthday; there were 7 of us. The KC for 3 had absolutely no flavor and seemed to be a very poor cut of meat. The fish was over cooked and the pieces very ...
In January of 2009, my husband and I went to Twin Mountains for our Anniversary dinner. I had always LOVED the filets there. I ordered one and it didnt even taste or look like filet meat. I took half of it home and threw it out. Did not eat but about two bites. I was sorry about this experience....
The thing about Twin Mountain is there are many reasons to love it. Twin Mountain is not just a steak house, it offers delious italian, sea food, and american food like a big juicy chicken fried steak. Don't get me wrong their steaks are to die for. So if you are ever around San Angelo you owe it t...
Love it Love it Love it Love it Love!!!!! Four words, Scraps and Garlic Bread! I want that recipe!! My husband was at the air force base in San Angelo for six months and he and his fellow airmen ate there every other weekend and anytime they had company it was the first place they would go, myse...
I recently stayed in San Angelo and Twin Mountain was recommended by my hotel as a good steakhouse. That is one of the best ribeyes I have every eaten. Great Experience.
This happens to be my uncle's restaraunt and there's nothing wrong with it. Every restaraunt has there bad days.
Definitely having my Christmas party here again this year. I have my company parties here as often as I can. They now have a couple of private rooms available. Great food and will work with to make sure you get the best service possible. Definately the best steaks and seafood in San Angelo. Than...
