Very American Legionish. Good boy food, in quantity at a good price
Wait Staff/Servers not so friendly, seemed bothered to do their job. Believe me, I do not like to make complaints and I wasn't having a bad day, either! But too much tension in the air, will not go back again!
One of only a few restaurants in the area that has live entertainment (on Saturday nights). Wait staff is very friendly. Plenty of food, and they get it to you quickly. Check out music on Saturday nights; fun for everyone.
If you don't care about atmosphere, but you love good ol' American food, you should love the Goldmine Restaurant on First St. in Garland. Wow! It is so good. This is a cozy, warm Italian restaurant hidden away in an unlikely place. There's much more to the menu than pizza, pasta and subs...and it's all very good. The Tiramasu is the best in town. The owner is always on hand and gives each customer personal attention. Well worth visiting.

Marlo's House is my family's favorite restaurant! My teenagerd, male and female,love this place and we all have brought many friends with us. They have all loved this place.There is no TV or playland, just great food, music and seven tables.

la guatemalteca bakery rocks. you should try their fresa mojado cake, it is amazing! i always order it for any parties i have and their bread is also very good and soft.
We've been loyal customers throughtout the years. As native Guatemalans, we know our food, and this restaurant is the best when it comes to serving it. We also order catering for our parties, and always get the best compliments from our guests!
The quality of the product is consistant. Their tamales are very authentic, as well as their enchiladas. I always feel at home whenever I eat at their other location which is closer to me.
Their breakfast are superb!

They did not include the side dish in our order. And we tried calling the phone number on the receipt and fax kept coming on. Then we looked up the phone number and tried calling that and same result. Really frustrating experience
Ordered the "Cottorro's" and was disappointed in the food. While it was freshly made and hot, the flavor left much to be desired. Service was good and the place is clean. Food is generally good but not as consistent as I would like. Enchiladas were above average but tacos have been a little bland. More of a neighborhood Tex-Mex place - not the usual chain.
Once in a while we eat here and it always has a good atmosphere and overall very clean, the Texas decoration is excellent... with pretty murals, amiable personnel, specially Jose. I give this restaurant a "10"
