Best kept secret in Fort Worth for supreme Mexican food. You watch 'em cook it up and then you pick it up at the grill counter. Great prices, fresh guacamole, great beans!! Yum!!! Limited tables but it's worth standing up for.

The Old Neighborhood Grill was recommended to me by a friend and I found it a delightful place to eat. Peter and his crew were absolutely wonderful and the food was some of the best I have ever eaten. Great going, Peter, Jay was right about you! John C.
Dinner tonight was the worst tex-mex I have had in 10 years: overly salted salsa; fajita beef was artifically tenderized and steam cooked;small portions for a $13.95 meal; pay extra for cheese and sour cream; poor service. BAD VALUE AND WORSE FOOD AND SERVICE.
This is a wonderful hidden jewel in the Fort Worth dining scene. Order from the specials menu: Buffalo, antelope, emu, elk, baby salmon, baseball size filets.(I prefer the antelope,it's amazing) The chef really knows his stuff, but somewhat reserved about making appearances. I've got to agree with the other reviewers - Taco Casa is WONDERFUL!! It reminds me of the old Taco Bell and Taco Bueno - when they originally started years ago. I, too, have turned several friends on to Taco Casa. I'm not a cheese person, and they are so nice about honoring my request for no cheese...

Relating to Drive Through: Good Food, Good Service. But, the face to face ordering is annoying if you have more than one order to place. It's hard to remember everyone's order # from the menu.
Ignore the idiot above, this is a great place, with a unique atmosphere. A bit pricey, but overall it's worth it. The brisket tameles are incredible.
