One on the worst dining experiences I ever had in my life. My wife and I went on a slow Wednesday night 10 June 2009. The server gave us corn bread that tasted like it was at least a day old when we asked her to replace it with some fresh corn bread she replied "that they are making some fresh corn...
The voodoo shrimp was tasteless... the salad was gritty... the greens, macaroni and chesse were horrible. I chose take-out, so I wasn't aware until I got home that they did not include any barbeque sauce for my ribs, which most definitely needed sauce. The salad dressing was good.
Food was authentic bbq - not the "smoke-in-a-bottle" stuff you get at similar rib joints. The menu was awesome with moderately priced entrees of smoked items like ribs, brisket, chicken, etc., and lots of other items that I can't wait to try such as seafood, pasta and a huge assortment of appetizer...

My dining experieince at relish was delightful. However, I have tried to purchase their red velevet cake for Thanksgiving. ( The cake is excellent!!!) However, I called them 5 times within a 5 day period and no one never bother to respond to my request. This has been a great disappointment, I was w...

I visited Sadiki's on 8/21/08. I had an 8:00 reservation and arrived at 7:45. Was told by the hostess that she could not find my reservation and I would have to wait. I asked how long the wait was and she indicated she didn't know and was seating tables as they opened up. Strange, but okay. I a...

My family and I went to Sadiki's to celebrate my birthday on Thursday, June 19, which was the day before the start of the West Oak Lane Jazz Festival. The service was awful. The servers were not familiar with the table grid so they walked around with food asking different tables if it had been ord...

I was really excited to find out about Sadiki's opening in my neighborhood. I hate to do the comparison to my south st favorite so I won't:) But I'll say I hoped for something similar in my area for quite some time not just food wise but ambience as well, and so I was glad to hear of Sadiki's quick ...

My husband and I have had 2 dining experiences at Relish, once for dinner and the most recent was for brunch. The dinner experience was much better than the brunch. Dinner was okay. Brunch not so much, For $20.00 a head, the food on the plates were just not worth it. My husband ordered the waffle wi...

I live in the area and was excited about the opening of Sadiki's restaurant. I thought the food was great, but the menu did not have much of a selection and it took FOREVER for the food to be prepared. The service was great and the management staff are all awesome as well. I would rate my experience...

I had dinner at Sadiki's tonight. The food and service was very good. Our waitress "Donnisha" was very attentive and helpful. The food was hot when it arrived and I had a great non-alcholic fruit punch. It was full of fresh fruit. Great Experience. Jean

I was surprised to ride down the street and see Relish rather than Sadiki's. Something told me this was a colab with the Bynum bro's and I was so pleased when I found out my assumptions were true. The night I went I didn't go late enough to experience the band I enjoyed the ambience and conversat...

Relish is an exciting addition to the Philadelphia dining experience. The Bynums upscale twist on southern favorites excels in dishes like seafood mac and cheese, crab cake sliders, and scrumptuous banana bread pudding. The night I was there, Brenda Smith's soaring jazz vocals reminded me of every...

i have dined at this restaurant on three occasions since they opened last month. the food, ambiance and service was excellent. The live jazz music made the experience that much more enjoyable. There is a charge of three dollars per person for each set if you are fortunate enough to be seated in t...

I went in on Friday and the service was excellent and the food is to die for. The jazz area could be a little bigger but overall you get the best for your buck and you are catered too. This was a wonderful experience and I would do it again and take friends. Debbie from West Oak Lane

My girlfriends and I have enjoyed going to Relish/Sadikis for the past two years. Friday night for Jazz and appetizers and on special occassions for dinner. However, our recent experience last Friday was not good. When I made the reservations I asked for a table in the Jazz Cafe and was told that...

Sadiki's is a unique dining experience from start to finish. The decor is appealing to all of the senses, and so is the food. Sadiki himself is everything you would want in a restauranteur and more. Truly delightful.

I ate at Sadiki's about a month ago. The food was exquisitely prepared and the service was excellent. Sadiki came out to greet me and my family and was a delightful host. I can't wait to get back to Philadelphia to eat there again. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend the restaur...

I'm an event planner and was there for a lunch meeting with others in the business. I enjoyed the ambience very upscale. The menu is limited but if you go must try the grits(make sure the butter is on the side)a bit expensive for a waffle but through it all it was a great experience. If the restaur...
