better than average food. pleasant service.dark oldtime chinese decor. kidfriendly also moderate prices.
It has changed owners ( and I believe it's name is now A K Peking Duck House). We always ate at Joe's when we went to Chinatown. We tried eating at the restaurant that replace it and were very disappointed.
Excellent food and service. Restaurant extremely small but clean and cheerful. Some of the freshest and best Chinese food anywhere.
Amazingly tasty food but the ambience of the restaurant is not what i was looking for. You get food over the counter when its ready after placing the order. There are no people to serve you the food so everything has to be done by oneself.
After reading the review from Greg Trout, I will not eat at this restaurant, and will in fact mention that review to other aquaintences. That should not happen to anyone. I appreciate that he was willing to write that review.
I noticed that mention Kabul restaurant on your website. I thought I should make you aware of a situation this past weekend that may make you rethink this decision. My girlfriend and I entered this establishment at 9:30 on Friday night. Waiting at the appointed area to be seated, we were eyeballed ...
My husband and I have been going to Kabul for years. It's a very good restaurant, BYOB, and we like the music and service. It's in a great location, reasonable, and convenient to the Arden or other entertainment sites in Old City. And they always have coupons in local papers and the Entertainment ...
We sampled many of their menu items from appetizers, entrees, and side dishes and were delighted with all of them. Service was attentive without being intrusive. It is certainly not an elegant restaurant but the decor was authentic and the surroundings comfortable. There were large groups, famili...
they don t take coupon from nobody
I had a great time on valentine's day there, the host was excellent, the waitress was on time, the food was good, but the special they had for valentine's day was great, $30 for two, and it was well worth it, only thing I did not like is the Chef came over to my table and ask how was the dinner and ...
I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT THIS RESTAURANT BY GOING TO VINCENT L JOHNSON'S FUND RAISING EVENT FOR JUDGE. THIS IS A 5 STAR RESTAURANT...MUSIC, FOOD, WAITERS AND PEOPLE WERE GREAT. THE OWNER CAME OVER AND GREETED US! FANTASTIC PLACE FOR ENTAINTAINMENT AND EXCELLENT FOOD! SANDRA OF EAST MT AIRY
Food quality is very good. People are friendly. This is a classic neighborhood Restaront vinyl booths cheap drinks good lunch specials. Very causal.
The menu includes sushi as well as Thai and Chinese dishes. There are also interesting daily specials. The food is fresh, well prepared, and beautifully presented. The service is excellent. The restaurant has recently been renovated and is lovely. I am afraid to say too many things for fear I w...
We found the restaurant to be quite charming, service good, food delicious. Overall was a very nice experience and we recommend this restaurant.
I think Manila Bay is not suppose to call Filipino restaurant because the food they serve is far from traditional food. The cook have no knowledge how to prepare the traditional Filipino cuisine. It so ashamed why this restaurant have to be consider as a Filipino restaurant; I guess because the peop...
I visited family in Philadelphia and everyone told us to go to Manila Bay Restaurant. Not sure why my family would take me to a Filipino restaurant when I want to taste something different. I was very surprised. Manil Bay is very cozy and we had a great time with the family. The servers were very fr...

The oldest ale house in the city, this place oozes character. The place is frequented by the young professionals and professional students on Tuesdays, fridays and Saturdays. Don't be intimidated by its alley location and the occasional transvestite on the street, this is an incredible heterosexual...
The worst dining experience of my life, though the rats that ran across the floor with crumbs might disagree.
NOVI IS THE WORST! I went for a pizza and some nice jazz music on a Friday night. The music was good, the food was just ok, the service was the worst I've experienced in years. From the time we sat down the waitstaff completely ignored us.... it was close to impossible to even get a glass of water...
