The service was really terrible. We waited 30 minutes before the waiter came to take our drink order. It was probably 20 minutes after that until drinks arrived. The waiter apologized repeatedly but the service never improved. Food was above average for Salem.

Alessandro's has become a hip, happy and happening place since changing ownership about three years ago. We dine there at least once a month. Why? By far the best dining experience we've had south of Portland. A must stop on our way back from Beaver games -- great martinis, excellent filet mignons, Oregon Pinots, and nonstop service. And did I mention it is also the best art gallery in the state! Don't miss this place when you're in Salem.
Caruso's is awesome! My husband and I go there as often as possible! The Caruso's Table (5-6 courses for $42 each) is fabulous if you are up for trying anything (never disappoints but you have no idea what you will get!). The service never disappoints either- Angie, Angie & Stephanie to a phenomenal...

The food at this place is incredible. I would recommend either the Macedonia Plate, or the Villagers plate. Both of these plates offer a variety of greek specialties and are reasonably priced. The service was top of the line. We had a young woman wait on us for dinner, and she made our first gre...
Olive Garden is always a great choice to go! It may not be the fanciest or most "authentic" Italian food but the service is always good & you can rely on a good dinner. You get more than enough food since they give you unlimited salad & breadsticks with your meal.
