Everything is really great about this place, except for the food. I have gone 3 times and not enjoyed the food all three times.
Food was excellent, however service was horrible and always has been. It took twenty minutes to get a drink order in. HELLO? A waiter brought water after ten minutes but didnt even ask if we needed anything.
Last Valentine's Day was by far the worst experience I've ever had. We made reservations at 7:30 for six people. We had a reservation at 7 and weren't waited on until 7:30. Our complimentary appetizers arrived at 8, salads at 8:30 we finally left the place at 9:30. Only 1 server for a busy Saturday. I so wanted to like this restaurant--Salem is in need. However, I found the service slow, and the food overpriced and much less exciting than the menu promised. I get the feeling the place is trying to be something it's not.
