Highlands provides some of the best quality food available in any Eugene bar or pub. The list of beers on tap is expansive and leaves almost nothing to be desired. I had the "commieburger" and it was fantastic. I've been trying to figure out how to make it ever since!
This is a great bar to watch a duck game at. Owners are awesome! No matter where you look, there is a TV. They hve the vidoe golf game as well.
I wouldn't return to this place nor would I ever recommend it. The food is lousy (greasy) but if you're drinking beer, it may not matter to you. As far the brewery is concerned, it's LESS THAN AVERAGE.
as far as brew pubs go, it's a bright,friendly place to watch a game or get a bite to eat.
Whenever in Eugene this is our usual eating/drinking spot. Very consistant food and service. The beer is average for a brew pub. Rhino Red is a good one.
The food is excellent! The Nachos Supreme are really good. And you are offered two kinds of Salsa, one is Cheese and its scrumptious. My husband and I split the Nachos as it is so much food. Wonderful place when the college kids are out of school.
