whatta place!! One of the best places to eat in T-town!!! Good food, strong margies, and great atmosphere!! best in the warmer months due to their awesome patio environment! nice mix of people who just want to relax and have a good time! Ages 20's-40's all have a blast here!!!

One of the worst Restaurants I have encountered - the food was horrible - the ambience was worse - and the service, although not horrible took entirely to long. Do yourself a favor and avoid El Matador.

Not worth the money at all!!!

I visited when they first opened and returned this year and found the restaurant staff very friendly, they have a long wait if you don't have reservations on the weekend, plenty of choices on the menu.
I'VE BEEN TO JOE'S SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH TIME I HAD FAST AND FRIENDLY SERVICE AND THE SEAFOOD IS EXCELLENT.

Poor, unfriendly, and exceedingly slow service, food ok, attitude of manager/server bad. We were a party of 22 and they claim they were understaffed. Still, with only a few other tables on a Tuesday night they could have at least taken drink orders and provided bread as we arrived. Definitely not...
I have eaten lobster and shrimp at this restaurant and it is very good. You get excellent service and in a timely manner. There is a guy that works there who has nice smile and ready with a little humor as he waits on you.
Eating here can be expensive but the food is good and every now and then they offer coupons which helps with a group dinner.
