I just love Ashton's Restaurant, I started going there about 10 years ago, when I was single, I have had two family gatherings there, and now that I have two children I am there more often, as there is a children's menu and they are children friendly, actually they have always catered to my need's, ...
We ordered "Spicy & Tangy Scallops" and "Spicy &Tangy Shrimps" for lunch. One dish had 4 shrimp and the second dish barely had enough scallops. Each dish was filled with large peppers & was approx $16.00. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

The food here is really expensive for their portion sizes. I had the meze tasting choice of three, and my white truffle pizza was the size of a cookie, I only got two brie croutons, and the hummus came in a little dish about the size of the butter tray at a fancy restaurant. Really disappointed.
Tables are too close together and small. Service was slow. Flatbread with mushrooms was really good though.

i liked the place , service and the food but i guess they have two chefs one cooks perfect moroccan dishes but the other one no but is acceptable
This is a great, inexpensive place to have something light. It's ideal to meet a friend for a last minute lunch if you're looking for some place to go. The food is great and the atmosphere sets a fun mood.
Great cheap food
The ribs were just alright. Nothing fantastic. The service lacks because it looks like they don't have enough help. Given the good location, it stays crowded each and everyday. There wasn't anything unique on the menu and I think that's what makes or breaks a place.

My mother is from Italy and she is a very good cook. If you are looking for fine Italian food I recommend this restaurant.
Becco is a great restaurant for those wanting to either get a pre-theatre meal, or a relaxing dinner post-theatre. There are wonderful selections of both appetizers, entrees, and desserts. This place was beyond excellent. I took my Dad there and we had a wonderful Father Daughter dinner. Many good memories.
I ate at Becco last night for the first time. The food was amazing, the service was great. Josh recommended some great wines for under $25 a piece. My husband, friends and I had a great time. It didn't hurt that we drank 4 bottles of wine.

This is NYC's best kept secret. The Grandma slice is absolutely out of this world, with many layers of flavor with the blend of 4 different cheeses plus great sauce and flavorful crust. The entree portions are ABUNDANT and all reasonably priced.
