I have fond memories of this restaurant. If it has not changed in the years since I've been to it, you can expect exquistly prepared food in generous portions. On occasion, they have fresh game such as venison or wild boar.
this place rocks....small intimate and food way beyond expectations

WARNING!!Horrible place, poor customer service and bad tasting cake. I place an order, gave details and specifications, showed pictures and had the gentlemen who also works there to specify the toping to the lady who wrote the order. A week later i go to pick up the cake and my order was messed up....
I had dinner in March of 1998. I refer it to everyone I know going into New York. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had. I try crab cakes all over the USA and I have never had better.
The food is good, the prices low, the service friendly and efficient. This place is a winner. Takeout is fast. Appetizers excellent except for egg roll which is dull and BBQ ribs which tend to be dry. My favorite dish is sweet and sour chicken. People who work here seem to like their ...

I went to Typhoon with a business associate. After the appetizer and before the main course was served I was engaged in a confidential conversation with my associate and the manager walked over and leaned over our table. He lingered there for a few minutes, making us feel uncomfortable. I final a...

I dined at the E 53rd st. location with 2 friends this past week on a Tues. (8/5/08). Atmosphere was elegant and sparse although the lights were a bit too bright. Our waiter was an older Chinese man who seemed unhappy in his job. He was efficient, but unfriendly, and he scowled when we asked for foo...

I've been to Thailand a couple times, and eaten at countless Thai restaurants in the U.S. and I'd say this place is as close to real Thai food as you can get outside of Thailand.

"PERKS" is a little pricey for Harlem...a chicken dinner, though delicious, rings in at approx.$15.00. However, this is "the place to be" in Harlem after work and on the weekends! Beautiful women and handsome gents crowd into a trendy bar and dancefloor nightly. Live Jazz and R&B groups appear sev...
This place is always packed. Thus, you should vi ew my review accordingly. The food is under cooked for my taste. No msg means less flavor. The waiters mean well; but there are too few for such a busy place. Waiters are harried and service is spotty. The fried rice was the worst I've ever ...

I have recommended this restaurant to all my friends from Rhode Island who are on their way to New York. The food is very good the waite staff friendly and nobody is more gracious than Jerry Casale the owner. He makes you feel like you are part of the family. Great place for a good meal and don't...
I have lived in the neighborhood for years and I'm always pleased with their service. Extremely friendly staff and the food is always consistently good. Pizza is not bad. The buffalo wings are my favorite.

I'm not the type of person to write a review on any restaurant, but sometimes you have one of those experiences that you can't let go unknown.   I have nothing but amazing things to say about the food, atmosphere, and service at this restaurant.  I've spent many lunch hours here for great food an...

This restaurant is tucked away on one of the last most desolate corners in SO HO. However once you arrive it is an oasis of great food at reasonable prices in a very comfortable setting;always plenty of fresh floral arrangements. It has thrived there for thirty years under the same ownership. They h...

Poor food, outside of restaurant very unkempt, inside not as clean as it should be. Poor service. Not customer friendly regarding food and cleanliness. This is regarding PH in Niagara Falls Canada. Other PH's I have visited in Rome, Italy, Orlando and NYC have been excellent,
